Research Animal Resources FY 2012 Rates

April 20, 2011

Animals in research

Research Animal Resources has published its fiscal year 2012 per diem rate projections.

Most rates are unchanged, a few are increased slightly, and some mouse box rates have decreased primarily due to improved husbandry efficiency.

Although these rates are tentative and may change pending the outcome of a cost analysis study currently underway, researchers can use the FY12 rate projections when planning research budgets and grant applications.

Please contact Cyd Gillett, director of Research Animal Resources, at gille002@umn.edu with any questions or comments.
