The Office of Biotechnology Activities is offering a special training session focused on National Institutes of Health guidelines for research involving recombinant DNA molecules. This event provides a great opportunity to network with colleagues from neighboring institutions.
The training is free and open to University of Minnesota researchers, lab staff, research safety officers, Institutional Biosafety Committee members (from the U of M, as well as IBCs in the upper Midwest and surrounding states), and others interested in the training topics. The agenda includes instruction on NIH guidelines and current research areas, along with discussions and Q&A sessions.
This event fulfills the U of M’s IBC requirement for training on the NIH guidelines, as well as the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) continuing education credit.
Meals and refreshments are available for purchase in Coffman Memorial Union.
Pre-registration is required and seating is limited. Please RSVP online.
