Research infrastructure survey: your input is needed

September 14, 2012

Practice

The Office of the Vice President for Research is currently seeking input from directors and managers of research infrastructure at the University of Minnesota. The infrastructure includes major research services, capacities, equipment and specialized support staff; read the complete definition.

If you believe you are a director or manager of research infrastructure and have not been contacted about the research infrastructure survey (see a preview of the survey), please email Michael Reis to receive more information.

This survey will help determine future investments, a priority mentioned by President Kaler in his State of the University Address in March 2012. The data collected will also be used to produce an inventory of the current research infrastructure at the U of M, and to provide preliminary information on the need for potential future investment.

The deadline for the survey is Oct. 1, 2012.
